Stop COVIDIOTS and don't be one

Hi readers, it's been an year, since I haven't posted on blog.

I know COVID times was extremely difficult for most of the people. Most of 'Work from Home' professionals were among the blessed ones to continue their job with less difficulty. Other dependent businesses were badly affected.

People living in semi urban or rural areas were less likely to notice COVID cases compared to metro or urban areas. The first wave of COVID 19 had affected badly and we can see what toll the economy had to pay. Even after creating awareness by respective health board ( I know the fact that everyone hates the way they spread awareness before every phone call ), some people just blindly ignored the consequences and still doesn't follow the rules.

Wearing a mask & maintaining social distance is a very basic thing that even an illiterate can understand. But some educated people still continue to spread fake news through social media forwards by mentioning "The vaccine may kill you / vaccine might make you impotent".

We hear these kind of news every day:
"Religious gathering amid COVID second wave"
"No social distancing during protest, election rally etc."
"People roaming without wearing mask"
"People protesting against COVID fine" - (This is the most absurd thing. It's common sense that disease should not spread and to control that government has introduced fine. Instead of wearing mask people started protesting against that. These are "COV-IDIOTS")

Just think if people had ignored religious gathering just once at least for this year,
also if they would have avoided gathering in election rally even if they are paid,
also if they would have avoided protesting,
also if they would have just simply wore the mask - All the the above news would have never existed.

I know that's an ideal world. Even after all these things, still people blame government and at the same time they avoid following the rules. The so called affordable connectivity (4G, cheap broadband etc.) has spoiled people rather than educating them. It's so easy to spread fake news, as if they are real. The internet in India is gradually turning into spam box. After the rise of affordable internet service, there was huge surge in YouTube channels or Social Media influencers. Most of them are meant to spoil people by killing their time or by spreading fake contents.

These must stop! At granule level, we the people must bring changes. Every individual who has minimum common sense must avoid such absurd and intake good contents. Responsibility lies in every individual who follows rules, doesn't spread fake contents.

Let us not be COV-idiots, also educate others - not to be the same!

Feel and understand

"To understand something first we need to feel"        Actually it is a simple line with in-depth meaning. Many consequences have occurred in everyone's life. We usually judge things from 1 point of view or in other words, our point of view.       I'll give you an example. Consider a situation that you are walking in a road, with a bun in your hand. Some random small child rushes towards you and steal your bun. How will you react ?       First thing you may do is to catch that child, and teach him/her some good manners. or gathering public and bashing that child. or cursing that child and letting go off the situation. But think once in the point of view of that child. That child may not even had it's food since days. May be it was walking in streets with immense hunger and that hunger may have made it to steal the bun from your hand. I'm not justifying that stealing was right thing. But I'm explaining the actual fact. Of cours...

A Day 8 times in 4 years

A new morning waiting for us. Hoping for a better day than previous one. The fun, enjoyment and jolly days of vacation ends. We started to miss homemade sweets and other dishes. We had to eat the hostel food again with a small face.        We see everyone rushing with a notebook in hand, some in groups and rest alone. Some with fascinating face and some with sadness at peak. Some with sleepy faces and some with happy faces. Juniors getting ragged & introduced to seniors.     There will be introduction classes of some lecturers & yuck, some of them also starts the syllabus on the first day.    This is nothing but the first day of every engineering student & this day comes only 8 times in 4 year!! Hoping for a good new start..... By, SUMANTH GOVINDE
