Everyone
will be aware of hurdle race. It consists of several obstacles through which
you have to jump and finally reach the finish line. Life is such type of race.
While writing this I remembered the famous dialogue of 3 Idiots “Life is a race,
Bhagoge nahi toh peeche reh jaoge”. [In Virus accent]. Actually that’s
partially true because everyone cannot be Rancho.
When I was in higher primary
school, SSLC was so hyped by everyone that actually I started studying so
serious to get marks. It was like, if not this 90+ number, then our life is
ruined. But I never saw its purpose other than proof for DOB. However after
crossing this hurdle then PUC came into picture. The same trend continued.
After all these things our future
was decided using some 60-60-60 objectives which were tested within 180
minutes. To be frank, students are trained in such a way that they should automate
their brain to solve those objectives. It’s like artificially training our
natural Brain, to automatically detect answers from multiple choices within
seconds. Content of these syllabus are data sets. To be honest I don’t like
these MCQ’s. Everyone may like these MCQ’s in exams, which brings you more
fortune in marks. But what I think is descriptive answers can analyse student’s
ability more effectively.
I won’t blame anyone, because if
I start blaming; it’s a long list where I may end up blaming myself for this. After
doing all these things and end up fulfilling some big company’s requirements as
an employee is the worst thing. Wherever you go, they will treat you as a
slave. Then if the promised job role is not available, they may also give you
any vacant job in company. What actually matters for them is the availability of human resources to showcase these to their client.
To be honest, college won’t let
you bring best in you. It all matters how you develop skills and whether you
are going to use these skill sets in future job or in any business. It may be
hard for some people to work for different roles in spite of studying other
courses. But that’s life, who knows what’s there in front of us. The key thing
is we should be ready to face it.
Tough decisions in life makes you
bring best out of yourself. If you think it’s not your cup of tea, just quit
from that and start doing something which is valuable for you. Start doing something which
can satisfy you. Always take risks, because
don’t let life to give you a day to regret for the past decisions. Some may
have failed at SSLC hurdle, some in PUC hurdle, some in future hurdles, but in
spite of all these things you should always consider this as motivation to keep
your life on track, that is “Best is yet to come out”.
