Peace of mind


   

  Few folks have a belief that we concentrate on lyrics of a song when we are sad. It may be true, but we also enjoy the lyrics of song when we are happy. There are plenty of things which make us happy.
There are also some small things, which makes us happy. 

Have anyone tried keeping your legs in warm water for 10 to 15 min before going to bed..?
just try once. It will give you a good sleep. Just don't stare at any screen or talk with anyone. Instead of that sit peacefully for 15 min. 

Try to listen to any good songs with meaningful lyrics. That peace is crazy.
There is a song called "kanna mucche" from Ulidavaru kandante (Kannada) film sung by Shankar Mahadevan & Vani Ravikumar. The lyrics of that song is beautiful. Just felt like writing about it.

It's just beautiful. It describes the eagerness of a boy to meet his mother after so many years. Definitely while hearing to this song, you will start missing your mother. 
Not only this, there are other beautiful songs which gives you a peace of mind. If at all you haven't tried, give it a try.

        ಗಾವೋ ವಿಶ್ವಸ್ಯ ಮಾತರಃ ಎಂದರೆ ಈ ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಗೋವು ತಾಯಿ ಇದ್ದಂತೆ. ಸರಳ, ಮೂಕ ಮತ್ತು ಉಪಯುಕ್ತ ವಾದ ಜೀವಿ. ನಾವು ಎಷ್ಟು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ತೋರಿಸ್ತಿವೋ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೀರಿದ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ನಮಗೆ  ಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದರ ಹಾಲು ಎಷ್ಟು ಪ್ರಯೋಜನಕಾರಿ ಎಂದರೆ ಅದಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದಿನನಿತ್ಯ ಆಹಾರ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.   ನಾವು ತಿನ್ನುವ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಸಿಹಿ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳು ಹಾಲಿಲ್ಲದೆ ತಯಾರಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಹಾಲನ್ನು ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಡೈರಿ ಫಾರ್ಮ ಗಳ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿದಿಲ್ಲ . ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಗುವ ನಷ್ಟ ಅಷ್ಟಿಷ್ಟಲ್ಲ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಬರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಉಳಿಗಾಲವಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಂತಹ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ.       ಮೊನ್ನೆ ತಾನೆ ಸಾಗರದ ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಡೈರಿ ಫಾರ್ಮ್ ಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಎದುರಿಸುವ ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದಾಜು 300 ದನಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು. ಸುಮಾರಷ್ಟು ಹೈಬ್ರಿಡ್ ತಳಿಗಳು. ಉಳಿದವು ಮಲ್ನಾಡ್ ಗಿಡ್ಡ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಂದಾಜು 600 ಲೀಟರ್ ಹಾಲು ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆ ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ. ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ದನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ 200 ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯಯಿಸಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. 300 ದನಕ್ಕೆ  ಅಂದಾಜು 60,000 ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳು. ಪ್ರತಿ ಲೀಟರ್ ಗು ಅಬ್ಬಬ್ಬಾ ಅಂದರೆ 40 ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳು ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸೋಣ. ಹಂಗಾದ್ರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬರೋದು  24000 ರ...

ನೆನಪಿನಂಗಳ

             ಓ ದುಗರೇ, ನಾನು ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರಿನ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ನಿಲಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತಾಡಬೇಕೆಂಬುದು ಬಹು ಸಮಯದ ಇಚ್ಛೆ. ಸುತ್ತ ಮುತ್ತಲೂ ಎಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲೂ ಹಸಿರು , ಗುಡ್ಡ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಇರುವ ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರು ಮಲೆನಾಡಿನ ಹೃದಯ ಎಂದೇ ಹೇಳಬಹುದು. ಇಂತಹ ವಾತಾವರಣದ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಇರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ನಿಲಯ ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧ್ಭುತ ಎಂದೇ ಹೇಳಬಹುದು.        ಈ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ನಿಲಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದಾಗಿ ಈ ನಿಲಯ ಅಧ್ಭುತ ಎನ್ನಬಹುದು. ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಸೀಟ್ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತ್ತು. ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ವಸತಿಯ ಬಗೆಗೆ ತಲೆಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ  ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ನಿಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರೂಮ್ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, "ನೀವು ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರಲ್ವಾ, ನೀವು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಿಂದ ಹೀಗೆ ಎದುರಿನ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋದರೆ ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಮುದಾಯದವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ನಿಲಯ ಇದೆ" ಅಂತ ಹೇಳಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.         ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ನಿಲಯದ ವಾತಾವರಣ ತುಂಬಾ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಕಟ್ಟಡ, ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಗೆ ಬಗೆಯ ಹೂವುಳ್ಳ ಗಿಡಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶೃಂಗೇರಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಗಣಪತಿ ಯ ಗುಡಿ. ಹುಡುಗರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತುಂಬಾ...

TIME FOR CHANGE

                                                                           Education is a part of our life. It is something which gives us a perfect shape for life. Education is not something which makes you earn money or makes you conquer whole world. It is initially a process of gaining knowledge and then letting ourselves to a stream of knowledge in which we have interest. But currently education is transforming into a money machine which gives loads & loads of money. Oops!! I’m sorry, it is machine which mints money from people. Let us keep those things aside. Education is not about studying all time, attending each & every classes, then swallowing all the information and finally vomiting out it in exams . Then why the hell these educational institutions are required. ...
